This guide provides general safety information for grills, pizza ovens, smokers, outdoor cooking equipment, and related products sold through oraaly.shop.
It does not replace the manufacturer’s manual, warning labels, installation instructions, or applicable laws and safety codes.
Read all instructions
Before assembling, installing, connecting, or using a product:
- Read the complete manufacturer’s manual.
- Review every safety label and warning.
- Confirm the correct model and fuel type.
- Check that all required components are present.
- Follow all clearance and ventilation requirements.
- Keep the manual for future reference.
Do not operate equipment when the instructions are missing or unclear. Contact Oraaly or the manufacturer for assistance.
Inspect the product
Inspect the product immediately after delivery.
Do not assemble or operate it if you discover:
- Shipping damage
- Loose or broken components
- Damaged hoses or wiring
- Missing safety parts
- A fuel-type mismatch
- A damaged control valve
- An altered product label
- Signs of leakage or impact damage

Qualified installation
Gas, electrical, permanently installed, and built-in products may require installation by a qualified or licensed professional.
Professional installation may be necessary to ensure compliance with:

- Ventilation requirements
- Homeowners’ association rules
Customers are responsible for confirming applicable local requirements.
Gas-grill safety
Before operating a gas grill:
- Confirm whether it requires propane or natural gas.
- Never connect a product to an incompatible fuel source.
- Check hoses, fittings, regulators, valves, and connections.
- Perform leak testing according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Keep the grill away from combustible materials.
- Keep the lid open when required during ignition.
- Never use an open flame to test for gas leaks.
- Shut off the fuel supply when instructed after use.
If you smell gas:
- Turn off the gas supply when it is safe to do so.
- Extinguish open flames.
- Do not activate electrical switches.
- Move away from the equipment.
- Contact the gas supplier, emergency services, or a qualified professional as appropriate.
- Do not use the product until it has been inspected.
Propane-cylinder safety
Use only approved propane cylinders that comply with the product’s specifications.
Never:
- Store spare cylinders near an operating grill.
- Use a damaged or excessively corroded cylinder.
- Overfill a cylinder.
- Expose a cylinder to extreme heat.
- Store propane cylinders inside a residence.
- Modify a regulator, cylinder, valve, or connector.
Transport, store, connect, and replace cylinders according to manufacturer instructions and applicable law.
Natural-gas connections
Natural-gas appliances must use the pressure, connection type, hose, shutoff equipment, and installation procedure specified by the manufacturer.
A qualified professional should complete permanent gas connections. Do not modify a propane product for natural gas unless the manufacturer expressly permits conversion using an approved kit and procedure.
Charcoal-grill safety
Charcoal equipment produces intense heat and carbon monoxide.
- Use charcoal grills outdoors only.
- Never use them inside a house, garage, tent, vehicle, or enclosed area.
- Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
- Do not add lighter fluid to hot or burning charcoal.
- Allow ashes to cool completely before disposal.
- Dispose of ashes in a suitable non-combustible container.
Never move a grill while the charcoal or ashes remain hot.
Carbon-monoxide warning
Fuel-burning products can produce carbon monoxide, an odorless and potentially deadly gas.
Never operate grills, smokers, charcoal products, or fuel-burning pizza ovens inside:
- Homes
- Garages
- Tents
- Recreational vehicles
- Enclosed patios
- Other enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces
Follow all manufacturer clearance and ventilation instructions.
Electrical safety
For products with electrical components:
- Use the voltage and outlet type specified by the manufacturer.
- Keep plugs and connections dry.
- Do not use damaged cords.
- Do not bypass grounding or safety devices.
- Use outdoor-rated extension cords only when permitted.
- Keep cords away from hot surfaces and walking paths.
- Disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
Electrical installation or repair should be completed by a qualified professional when required.
Built-in equipment
Built-in grills and outdoor appliances require correct cutout dimensions, insulation, ventilation, clearances, and utility connections.
Before construction or installation:
- Obtain the exact specification sheet for the purchased model.
- Confirm all measurements.
- Verify combustible-clearance requirements.
- Use an approved insulating jacket when required.
- Provide ventilation openings as instructed.
- Make sure shutoff valves remain accessible.
- Follow countertop and enclosure requirements.
Do not construct an enclosure using only measurements from a website photograph.
Safe placement
Place outdoor cooking equipment:
- On a level and stable surface
- In a well-ventilated outdoor location
- Away from combustible walls and materials
- Away from low branches or overhead structures
- Away from heavy pedestrian traffic
- At the clearance distances specified by the manufacturer
Do not use equipment where prohibited by building, rental, community, or fire regulations.
Fire safety
Keep an appropriate fire extinguisher accessible and know how to use it.
Never leave operating equipment unattended. Avoid wearing loose clothing around flames or hot surfaces.
If a fire occurs, follow the manufacturer’s emergency procedure and contact emergency services when necessary. Do not use water on grease fires.
Children and pets
Grills and outdoor cooking equipment can remain hot long after use.
- Keep children and pets away from operating or cooling equipment.
- Do not allow children to operate the product.
- Secure fuel sources and ignition tools.
- Never leave hot equipment unattended.
Cleaning and maintenance
Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
Routine care may include:
- Removing grease buildup
- Cleaning burners and cooking surfaces
- Inspecting hoses and connections
- Checking vents for obstruction
- Emptying ash safely
- Checking electrical cords
- Protecting equipment from severe weather

Do not clean hot equipment unless the manufacturer’s instructions specifically require it.
Replacement parts and modifications
Use only compatible replacement parts approved by the manufacturer.
Unauthorized modification may:
